Senpai Sean Dillon

It is with deep sadness and heartbreak that I have to let you know that Senpai Sean Dillon died on Saturday 3rd May after a long battle with Huntingtons Disease.

Senpai Sean started at Dunmow Dojo when I first opened it in 1985. He went on to become one of the best fighters in the BKK history winning the British Open and Russian Open in 1993 and the New York Championship in 1994. He was not only a great student, fighter and instructor but a personal friend who I watched grow up & loved very much.

We have so many happy memories of him. As a mark of respect to Senpai Sean we will wear the right side of your Gi’s over the left all this week. We will also be holding a minute silence in his honour.

RIP my dear friend & Karate brother. 😢
