When entering or leaving the Dojo, one should always Osu and bow.
(The term Osu should also be used as an acknowledgement during training).
No Swearing or bad behaviour is allowed.
Blackbelts should be addressed by their titles ie: Sempai, Sensei or
Shihan. At all times in the Dojo.
All students and instructors should bow and Osu when a blackbelt enters/leaves
the Dojo
Nails on the hands and feet should be cut as short as possible to avoid
injuries to yourself or your partner during sparring/training.
No Jewellery should be worn, as again it is a potential hazard to both
you and other students.
Jewellery that cannot be removed should be completely covered with one
or more plasters.
Hair should be tied back with a soft band not clips.
Mobile phones should be turned off unless absolutely necessary. In this
case please inform the instructor.
If you are going to be absent from training for a period of time, it is
courteous to inform the instructor.
If you need to leave the Dojo for any reason you should inform the instructor.
If you are late for training then you must wait in seiza until you are
invited to join the class.
